In the Epistles, God gives us a greater understanding of His glory and His wisdom

Ephesians 1:17-21

Remember This
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” John 3:16-17

Think About This

God wants you to lean on Him and look to Him in every situation you walk through. He wants you to know His heart, His glory, and His wisdom. He inspired the writers of the Epistles to write a bunch of different letters to a bunch of different people in a bunch of different situations for exactly that purpose. Not everything in these letters is directly applicable to everyone, but in all of these letters we can see God’s heart for us, His glory, and His wisdom.

Together with your student, draft a letter (or text, or email) to someone you both know well. In this letter, work with your student to share with that person some of the things that you’re thankful for, some of the things you love about God, and some things you’ve learned lately. Let your student lead the way, but don’t be afraid to contribute yourself. Try to make this letter something that benefits the person you’re sending it to by encouraging them, reminding/teaching them about God, and sharing useful knowledge or experience.
