The Human Condition

We are in denial of how WRETCHED we really are.

Luke  18:9-14

There is a HUMAN propensity to screw things up.

You can live in DENIAL or you can be set FREE by honesty.

Being true to YOURSELF  can be a DENIAL of wretchedness.

Obsessing with wretchedness can be a denial of DIGNITY.

“God, have mercy on me, a sinner.” –  v. 13

A proper view of wretchedness also means a proper view of our POTENTIAL.

Jesus responds to our wretchedness not with a LECTURE but with LOVE.
