Palm Sunday – John 12

1.    What day do you consider the 1st day of the week?

2.    The day before Palm Sunday was a busy one!

3.    The crowds in Jerusalem were thinking different things about Jesus

4.    Several Old Testament prophecies were fulfilled on Palm Sunday:

 Zechariah 9 – the king is coming on a donkey

Psalm 118 – blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord…….& join in a festal procession

Psalm 24 – Lift up your heads, you gates; that the King of glory may come in & Who may ascend the mountain of the LORD?

5.    As He entered Jerusalem, Jesus knew He would take the punishment for sin and be the sacrifice.
