Jesus told a story about two brothers. At first, they couldn't seem more different.

One ran away. One stayed home.

But deep down, both were searching for the same thing: Identity.

The younger brother believed he had to leave home to "find himself".

The older brother found identity in doing everything right.

But the father knew the truth. Neither's identity was found in what they did. They were loved simply because they were his kids.

And the same is true for you. Only your heavenly father can tell you who you are: You are His beloved child.
