Remember This
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”
John 3:16-17
Think About This
We get to share the good news of Jesus with our words, with our actions, and with our whole lives. God loves you. So much so that He’s willing to step down from glory, take on human flesh, live a life among us loving people and teaching people, and then die a terrible and undeserved death for you. And then come back to keep on loving you.

Spend some time asking your student these questions, and then talking about their answers and your answers.
• The video mentioned that ‘Gospel’ literally means ‘good news.’ When you have exciting news—like doing well on a test or something cool happening with friends—who is the first person you usually want to tell, and why?
• Lindsey said that even when we mess up in the future, it doesn’t push God away. Is it hard or easy for you to believe that someone can love you even when you make mistakes?
• What does ‘living out good news’ look like in middle school? What is one small action
someone could do, at school for example, that shows Jesus’ love?
