Trust and Obey

We all have a natural tendency to resist these two words: Trust and Obey. But what if it didn't have to be this way?

Ignatius of Loyola once said that sin is a result of a "failure to trust that what God wants for me is my deepest happiness."

We won't get far in our walk with God if we don't see him as a Father who has our best interest in mind. When we start seeing God as trustworthy obedience becomes the most natural thing we could do.

Consider this an invitation to see God for who he really is. Your loving dad who only wants what's best for you. This is the entryway to the path toward a growing relationship with God.
