Detroit is a metropolitan city which is home for people of many ethnicities. It is the mission of Faith Lutheran Church and POBLO (People Of the Book Lutheran Outreach) to reach out to different ethnic groups in their own native language. As a result of this ministry we have weekly worship services in Hindi/Urdu and Arabic apart from Tamil. There is also a international worship service conducted every month with multi-lingual program and multi-national participation.
Tamil congregation carries this mission forward to the Tamil speaking population of Detroit metropolitan area through ministry of the word, fellowship, evangelization, caring and sharing.
