The Purpose:

To help parents teach, pray, and grow with their student, as they become a member of FLC by studying the scriptures and the small catechism.

• To create a confirmation process that integrates worship, discipleship, community, outreach and stewardship into the lives of students.
• To support families as they help their students to grow spiritually.
• To teach the small catechism as Martin Luther intended it to be taught.
• To see students and parents embark on spiritual journey’s together as a family.

The Benefits:

• Involves parents in the spiritual lives of their children.
• It provides a means for parents to take an active part in the confirmation of their student.
• An opportunity for more scripture to be taught to students over the course of the 2 years.
