About Faith Impact...

The Concept:
The concept is simple—people serving people—individuals using their time and abilities to IMPACT the lives of others.

The Reason:
Life is full of twists and turns, and individuals sometimes find themselves in crisis situations. Perhaps you know of someone—a family member, friend, neighbor or co-worker—who has recently become ill, disabled, or who has fallen into a short-term financial crisis.

The Need:
If a crisis arises in an individual's life, then even the most basic daily tasks of home maintenance, repairs, meals, yard work and basic transportation needs (i.e. to church, physical therapy, grocery shopping) become difficult or even impossible.

The Goal:
Faith Lutheran Church is blessed with an abundance of talent, resources and people who are willing to help those in need. Faith Impact is the ministry where you can find them. The goal of this ministry is to help individuals by matching their short-term needs with volunteers willing to help.

The Biblical Foundation:
1 Peter 4:10 says, “God has given gifts to each of you from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Manage them well so that God’s generosity can flow through you.” (NLT)
