For Adults

3 Solas Café

In addition to being a “comfortable place to learn about Christ,” and delving deep into God’s Word, this class has plenty of opportunities to ask questions and dialogue about various spiritually-related issues. Following are just some of the actual questions that were asked during recent Café sessions:

--How are we to believe that the Bible is true?
--If God is so powerful, why can’t He stop the evil things that are about to happen?
--How do we deal with science, carbon dating and its claim that the earth is millions of years old?
--Can you be saved if you commit suicide due to mental illness?
--Does a baby have to be baptized in order to go to heaven? What is hell?
--What about people who never knew Christ or had the opportunity to know Him, will they go to hell?

Over 1200 have attended the Café sessions during the past four years. Why Believe The Bible

Revelation

Revelation, John’s amazing vision, may be the most misunderstood book in the Bible. On the one hand it is a terrifying prophecy of a profoundly disturbing future. On the other hand it proclaims the great and comforting truth that God is in control, that the Lamb is on His throne, and that trial and tribulation cannot separate the elect from a glorious eternity. Arabic-American Fellowship

Bring the Bible to Life: Moses

How many have embarked on Bible reading and gotten no further than Leviticus? The sacrifices and feasts and laws seem so ancient. What do they have to do with today? Much in every way. It has been said that you cannot grasp the New Testament without a firm grasp on the Old. Join us this fall as we look at four books—Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy—and see how God used a great man and a rebellious people to prepare the way for His Son. Cover to Cover

Starts September 19

Join us as we continue our trek through the Bible, God’s story, Cover to Cover. In this, our second year, we’ll begin with Jeremiah and Lamentations, move to the exile, and finally Israel’s return. Then we’ll forge onward to cover the entire New Testament. While our goal is to read the Bible before class, you are welcome to come and listen or participate in all or just one lesson. “Bible 101”

This 13-week class will provide the attendee a very high level overview of the Bible, its books, and its messages. Once completed you will know where the books of the Bible are, where the Bible stories you have always heard are located, and the key messages of the Bible. The Gospel of John

After Matthew, Mark and Luke told the story of Jesus the Christ, the Holy Spirit moved John to tell the story so “that by believing you may have life in His name.” John was an eye witness and he saw the “glory, the glory of the One and Only who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” Share in this exciting verse by verse adventure in God’s Word. Baptism Classes

Our time together is designed to help parents and prospective parents prepare for their children's Baptism. We'll learn what the Bible teaches about Baptism and have your questions answered. The Baptism Class consists of 2-Sunday sessions meeting on consecutive Sundays. You must attend both sessions. 1st Sunday's topic: "What Does God Say?" and 2nd Sunday's topic: "Living It Out." Basic Training

In the “Basic Training” small group 34 week program, men can expect to develop a consistent walk with the Lord, build lasting relationships with other men, and learn to make an impact for the Kingdom. The Quest for Authentic Manhood
Monday Nights, 7—9 pm, Room 10/11/12
Starts Monday October 18

This 24 week study focuses on a man's core identity and gives an overview of basic manhood issues. It will help men deal with various identity issues by looking back at past wounds and other things that may have distorted their idea of biblical masculinity. Throughout the course of the study, men will learn how to clearly define manhood and will finally be able to give a succinct and passionate answer to the questions, "What is a man?" and "What am I living to be?" This captivating journey helps men:
• Resolve wounds from their past
• Embrace a biblical definition of manhood
• Develop their own personal manhood plan

Man in the Mirror Series

The Man in the Mirror, a 24 week study, reveals how to live successfully with the man in your mirror who is grappling with the pressure and stress of everyday life. “From the Inside Out” – A Journey of the Soul through the Psalms. Women often pay much attention to their outward appearance without noticing the condition of their soul. Throughout the year, special attention will be given to the nurturing and nourishing of the soul. Radiant 4 Him is an evening (once a month) for the busy young adult woman who wants her life to reflect Jesus in the home, school, and workplace. This year we will focus on how God puts things together in a very specific, orderly way, and because of that, God does not make mistakes. Each week students can expect some time to hang out and get to know others, participate in small group games, Bible study time and listen to an introduction teaching. We will be working our way through different stories of the Bible each and every week. Doors open at 3pm, so if you want to hang out with friends before class, stop by from 3—6 pm, for video games, pizza, or just to do your homework.
