ISSUES & ACTION

As Christians, we are continually confronted with issues that challenge our values and threaten to change our culture. Most of us wonder what we can do or if we can do anything about them.

We can make a difference:

The members of the Issues and Action committee believe that we can help our country move in a positive direction, if we:

  • are informed about the issues,
  • realize we are not the only ones who believe as we do, and
  • join with others from our church, our city, our state or across the nation and take action.
  • Our Mission:

To inform members and friends of our church about issues that affect the family and Christian community and to facilitate responsible Christian action in response to these issues.

"Be very careful, then, how you live not as unwise but as wise,

making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.

Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is." Ephesians: 5:15-17

We strive to provide information about current issues of interest to Christians so you will be equipped to speak knowledgeably about them, stand up for what you believe is right and take action.
